It's been a while.
For those who are actually reading this, thank you and I am truly sorry for not updating like a few weeks ago. Anyway, we're in the bay area right now. So far, the second leg of the trip has been successful. The shows are going well and we're performing our best. Both EFC Southbay and CTCC had great hospitality. It was very fun just talking and chilling with the people. The past two days has been pretty fun. Meeting up with last year's member, Chris was awesome. Seeing him as a youth pastor was amazing haha.I think the team has bonded really well and is starting to work together. Although we have our ups and downs, it only brings us closer. I'm excited to see what God has in store for us for the next 3 performances.

Houston, We love you
First, I must explain myself for not doing this a long time ago. I didn’t know how we were doing the tour journals this year. Now that I know I must keep updating this for everyone. :D
When I though California was getting hot this summer, I was wrong. This place is spankin’ hot. Add the humidity and it’s all overs. I was kind of turned off because of the heat at first, but after meeting the people, it was so much better. People here are like super friendly and down-to-earth. We even planned a dance lesson from one guy. Maybe I can teach Y’all someday. (that is, if I don’t forget).
God has answered our call for team unity because it’s so obvious that He has been working during the time we spend together. Even small things like the team unloading the van together just brought the team a bit closer. I think what we need now is to get a bit more time for practicing our music and drama, just to keep it fresh.
My iPod has become my best friend these past few days. It’s quite fun to listen to some songs and remember people back home. I guess I’m feeling a bit homesick for the first time. I think it’s caused more by how tired I am at the end of each day. Being part of a lot and worrying about a lot more just is a horrible combination.
Anyway, this will conclude the first entry of mine. I’ll try and update every few days. And for prayer requests, I just ask that you can pray for the team’s energy and chemistry to further our ministering. Thanks, y’all. (haha did you notice?)

my story
I was born and raised pretty much all my life in Temple City. There, people are nice and very easy to get along with. I came to know Christ when I was in 7th grade when I was asked to join a Friday night fellowship. I found it quite interesting and after a few months, I also started to go on Sundays.
I feel most “in tune” with God when there are no distractions and I feel carefree. With no stress, I’m able to have a more intimate relation with God. I’m on this trip because I feel I am best serving God through mission work and I really enjoy playing in a worship team.
I’m known to be random and do silly things. I rarely have a chance to see that. I have a knack for talking to random people, so please come up to me and say hi and how nasty that one note sounded. Then I will cry, get over it in two seconds, and then excitedly talk about how I get picked on.
i confess...
- I've frozen up on stage.
- I've cracked my voice when singing.
- I've run away from home.
- I open up to others easily.
- I don't read my Bible everyday.
- There are times when I tune out from God.
- I bite my nails.
- I've hugged a stranger.
- I've cried in public.
- I believe in true love.
- I've fallen asleep during sermons.
- I forget to pray before I eat.
- Sometimes I choose other things over quiet times.
- I have to pee before performing.
- I've tripped on stage.
