my story
I grew up in Kenner, Louisiana, but its flooded now. I moved to SoCal CERRITOS when I was 6 or something. I came to know Christ when I was a young junior in high school, and it didn’t really come easy. To keep a long story short, very short, what ultimately saved me was A) God’s combined grace, mercy, and patience, B) my fellow church members at EFC CERRRIIIIITTTOSSS and C) being a witness of God at work through worship.
I am MOST “in tune” with God during worship, there’s no other perfect time than to be connected with God through worship of any form to our God. I’m on this trip because I want to be used by God and minister to other people through music. I know God has a lot in store for me, and he has proven me faithful by giving me the opportunity of leading my rad church in worship every Friday/Sunday.
EFC CERRITOS ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i confess...
- I'm afraid of silence.
- I talk A LOT when I get really nervous.
- I've frozen up on stage.
- I'm afraid of the dark.
- I've cracked my voice when singing.
- I open up to others easily.
- There are times when I tune out from God.
- I've hugged a stranger.
- I believe in true love.
- I forget to pray before I eat.
- I shut others out when I'm sad.
- I have to pee before performing.
- I've tripped on stage.
