Second Day

It’s 10:11 AM and we’re once again on the road. Destination: Houston, TX. We stayed over at a hotel in El Paso, TX last night and had dinner at this burger joint called Whataburger. We set out this morning at 6PM and still have a good 11-12 hours. It’s been difficult staying awake because we’re cooped up in a van for so many hours at a time and we’re unable to move or exercise. BUT we’re almost there!!! Just a couple of more hours!!

Even though we’ve only been gone for a little more than one day, I can see God slowly working through each of us, though I will not go into detail at this time. Some of us are taking what may seem as little steps, but in actuality huge leaps, of coming out of our shell and revealing our true selves to one another.

Must go for now! Bye bye!

Bible verse
Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory. Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:23-26

my story

I was born in Argentina, and came to America when I was three years old. I graduated from college in 2003 and will possibly start graduate school in the fall. I accepted Christ during a children’s retreat and was confirmed in 1998. Since then, God has taken me through many obstacles that has not only given me insight on the endless characteristics of who God is, but I am extremely thankful for His love and discipline because He has taught me a great deal about who I am in Christ.

There are many reasons why I chose to go on this trip and one of the main reasons is because God has placed a burden in my heart to go out and be able to share the passion and talent that God has bestowed upon me.

i confess...

  • I've cracked my voice when singing.
  • I can't sleep in a room if the closet door is open.
  • I don't use the radio anymore.
  • There are times when I tune out from God.
  • I can't sleep if there is a spider in the room.
  • I've hugged a stranger.
  • I've cried in public.
  • I peek during prayer sometimes.
  • I have to pee before performing.
  • I've tripped on stage.
